Dorothy Becker

Dorothy Ann (Praska) Becker was born to Edward and Agnes (Rehovsky) Praska on February 4, 1943 in Oakes, North Dakota. At a very young age, she moved to Alexandria, MN with her parents. Dorothy attended country school by Lake Louise and later graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961 as class valedictorian. Following her schooling, Dorothy met William Becker and the two were married in 1962. For Dorothy a good weekend was spent with a horse and a campfire.

She passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at the age of 77. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 58 years: Bill; two sons: Bill (Chris) Becker and Mike (Wendy) Becker; one daughter: Brenda Becker; four grandchildren: Nicole, Cory, Miranda, and Jenna Becker; and two brothers: Eloise (Helen) Praska and Daniel (Edith) Praska. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother: Jerome Praska; her sister: Rosaleen Peterson; and her granddaughter: Victoria “Vicki” Rose Becker.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. More specific details are pending COVID-19 restrictions.
