Joshua Wagner

Joshua William Wagner was born on August 7, 1986, in Alexandria, Minnesota to Clifford and Michele (Larson) Wagner.  He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Brandon.  Josh graduated from Brandon High School in 2004, where he loved playing football and baseball.  He attended the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND for electrical technology and continued to play football.  After college Josh worked a variety of jobs doing electrician work and in 2008, while he was in Fargo, he met a Canadian girl named Nancy Chartier

The couple moved to Austin, TX in 2010, and were married on August 20, 2011, at Chippewa Park in Brandon.  They continued to live in Austin, TX until they moved back to the Brandon/Evansville area in 2012.  Josh worked for contractors doing electrical work.  In 2017, the couple was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Emily.  Josh always treasured his family and adored his daughter.

Josh loved camping, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, his dog, Maddie, and he was obsessed with sports especially the Minnesota Vikings.

Josh died on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at his home at the age of 34.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Evansville; daughter, Emily; parents, Michele and Clifford of Garfield; brother, Danial (Corinna Reif) Wagner of Duluth; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.  Visitation will be for one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Lunch will be served after the service.
