Nancy Jean Struck, age 72, of Alexandria, MN, went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2019, surrounded by family at Alomere Health.
Nancy was born to Joseph and Irene Poblocki in Winona, MN on September 18, 1947. She attended Winona High School where she graduated in 1965.
She was married to Steven Struck on April 18, 1970, at St. Stanislaus Kostka in Winona, MN. They lived in Rochester until they moved to Alexandria in 1972 and lived on Lobster Lake for 33 years. While there, she and Steven raised their four children.
She enjoyed gardening, landscaping their property, and nightly bonfires by the lake. Nancy worked several different professions during that time: sales, custom framing, antique dealer, and bus paraprofessional.
She is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Kym (Nikko) Struck, Kendra (Tom) Hohman, Kelley (Georgie) Struck, and Kyra (Preston) Welsh; grandchildren, Ashton, Hunter, Lexi and Gunner Struck, and Regan and Callen Welsh.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Garfield. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
Nancy wanted to donate her body to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester to help further the education of health care students.
