OBITUARY Albert Joseph Latendresse was born on July 16,1914 in Upham, ND, the son of Edmund and Cordelia (Prudam) Latendresse. Albert helped on the farm with his brothers and sisters and then graduated from Upham High School in 1935. He continued to farm and also owned and operated Latendresse Truck Line for many years. Albert lived in the Upham area for over 90 years. Albert had an innovative mind and the ability to make or fix almost anything. He was a hard workingman with a mind of his own. He had a great sense of humor and loved to dance. At any given dance he would be the last person to leave the dance floor. Albert told lots of stories and enjoyed life. He also enjoyed being outdoors and raising horses. Albert?s pride in his life was his family. The sound of his daughter and granddaughter?s voices would light up his face with a big smile and he would open his arms wide, waiting for a hug. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Albert J. Latendresse left to shake hands with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Peaceful Bliss in Alexandria at the age of 98 years old. He is survived by his daughters Michelle (Matt) Esping of Brandon, MN; Lila Akan of Henderson, MN; three grandchildren Emily Esping and Lydia Esping both of Brandon, MN; Lane Akan of Henderson, MN; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 1PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Towner, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in the Granville Cemetery in Granville, ND. Casket Bearers are Matthew Esping, Wayne Latendresse, Corky Latendresse, Ryan Latendresse, Frank Whalen, and Michael Thorson.
