Avis Ingebretson

OBITUARY Avis Kathleen Ingebretson, 89, Duluth, formerly of Alexandria, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. Eligus Nursing Home in Duluth with her family by her side. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Saturday. She was born March 1, 1922 to Theodore and Anna Tonsager in Eagle Bend. She married LeRoy Ingebretson April 27, 1941 in Alexandria. She loved to read, listen to music, and spend time with her friends and family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; sister, Dolores; and brother, Kenneth. She is survived by her four children, Paul (DyAnn) of Bismarck, ND, Nichole (Randy) Gafner of Duluth, John (Ione) of Willmar, Ernest ?Kolby? (Roxanne) of Moorhead; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Eligus for their kind and loving care. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
