Beverly Jean Ludwig age 47 of Garfield, died unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday April 2, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church - Union Hill in New Prague, MN at 11:00 AM. A visitation will take place from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria, MN. A visitation will also take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral at the church. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
Beverly Jean (Glisczinski) Ludwig was born on August 21, 1968 one of nine children to Sylvester and Joan (Hesse) Glisczinski of Belle Plaine, Minnesota. Bev was baptized at the St Joseph Catholic Church in Lexington, MN. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1986. After high school she started working at the Rite Way. She later worked for Novartis and after moving to the Alexandria area, she started working at Sun Opta. On April 7, 1990 Bev married Scott Shriver, to this union three children were born, Joshua, Kyle and Matthew. In 2003 Bev met Larry Ludwig and on January 25, 2008 they were united in marriage at their home. In 2011 the couple and their family moved to a hobby farm in rural Garfield.
Bev enjoyed reading, going out with friends and family to casinos and playing slot machines. She particularly loved watching Cupcake Wars on TV. She truly enjoyed attending events with friends and family events, always having fun on the girl’s weekend with her sisters and making sure she got the last bag of popcorn for the drive home.
She always wore a contagious smile, especially when around her friends and family. This will be deeply missed by Larry and the rest of her family and friends.
Beverly died unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. She is preceded in death by her sons father, Scott Shriver; father, Sylvester Glisczinski; stillborn sister; brother-in-law, Tommy Ludwig. She is survived by her husband, Larry Ludwig; children, Joshua Shriver, Kyle Shriver, Matthew Shriver, Sheena Radermacher, Shawn (Crystal) Ludwig; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Dalton, Kylea Ludwig; mother, Joan Glisczinski; brother Kenneth (Linda) Glisczinski, Ramona (Chris) Wacker, Joseph (Pam) Glisczinski, Sandra (John) Kubes, Rebecca (John) Huppert, Mary (Doug) Kasper, Steven (Amy) Glisczinski; many nieces, nephews and her beloved dogs, Jess and Bree.
