Bonita Ann Prescott was born on October 19, 1957 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Donald and Bernadine (Klimek) Busch. The family moved to a farm near Leaf Valley in 1958. She graduated in 1975 from Jefferson High School in Alexandria. Bonita worked as a manager at the Jewelry Scene in Alexandria. Bonita married Dave Prescott and moved to Arizona. They had three children, David Jr. ?Bud?, Tanya, and Megan. After her divorce she moved back to Alexandria where she met Dave Holm and they had a son, James. Bonita worked numerous jobs and loved to volunteer with local non-profits. Bonita enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Bonita died on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Knute Nelson in Alexandria at the age of 56. She is survived by her mother, Bernadine of Garfield; friend, Dave Holm of Alexandria; children, David Jr. ?Bud? (Megan) Prescott of Alexandria, Tanya (friend, Michael Harberts) Prescott of Alexandria, Megan (Mike) Kopitzke of Clarkfield, and James Holm of Alexandria; step-children, Kenneth (Denise) Holm of Alexandria and John (Fatima) Holm of Alexandria; grandchildren, Bronson and Violet Prescott; step-grandchildren, Carter, Rayna, and Taylin Holm; siblings, Marjorie Bush of Phoenix, AZ, Roger Busch of Northhome, Lori (Doug) Johnson of Fort Worth, TX, Brenda (Brian) Hellerman of Parkers Prairie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonita is preceded in death by her father, Donald Busch, and sister, Nancy Busch. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Millerville with Reverend Matthew Crane officiating. Inurnment was held in the church cemetery. Honorary urn bearers were the Ya Ya Sisters. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria
