Bryan Matthew Nanik was born July 14, 1978 in Alexandria, MN, the son of James and Pamela (Zwack) Nanik. He graduated from Jefferson High School in the class of 1997, and then attended Alexandria Technical College, where he majored in Computer Support Specialist. For the past 7 years Bryan was employed by Lakeland Management in Alexandria. With Bryan's expertise in all areas he helped the company grow in many ways. Since June 2007, Bryan has worked for Central Specialties driving the big rigs for road construction and in the off-season; he worked for his dad at Gorham-Oien Mechanical. Bryan was very particular about his Ford, one ton, fully loaded, King Ranch truck. It was his pride and joy. Bryan's interests included spending time on his computer, talking on his blackberry cell phone, riding his jet ski around various lakes in the area, deer hunting in Verndale with the Nanik family, and he liked going to the Alexandria Blizzard hockey games with his friends. Most important to Bryan was time spent hanging out with his friends and family. He loved meeting new people. (He was a social butterfly.) He especially enjoyed spending time and playing with his three-year-old nephew, Jackson and cuddling his newborn godson, Mason. Bryan also adored his girlfriend, Dana, and her two daughters, Addy and Lily. BRYAN WILL BE MISSED TREMENDOUSLY!!! On Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Bryan died at the age of thirty years.
