Carol Louise (Peffer) Jagodzinski was born on July 18, 1946, in Lidgerwood, ND to John and Louise Peffer. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lidgerwood, ND. Carol graduated from Lidgerwood High School.
Carol was united in marriage to George Jagodzinski on October 24, 1964, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lidgerwood, ND. They moved to Minneapolis for a few years and then moved to Coon Rapids, MN for a time and later to Anoka. Carol worked as a Savings Consultant at TCF Bank in the cities. In 2006, the couple moved to Red Rock Lake near Hoffman. Carol went to work at Kensington Bank as a teller.
Carol was a member at St. John Nepomuk Church in Reno Township and enjoyed volunteering with whatever was needed. She was passionate about quilting, sewing, canning, flower gardening, cats, dogs, especially one of her grand-dogs, Skeeter, and spoiling the grandchildren. She made it to almost every tennis match and softball game that her grandchildren played. Carol enjoyed boating with George and camping, especially when they went to Medora. Carol also enjoyed her recent trip to Florida with her daughter, Jackie where she loved picking sea shells. She was able to meet her three great grandchildren whom she loved dearly and also enjoyed watching Breck's funny faces.
Carol died on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Bethany Home in Alexandria at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband, George of Hoffman; son, Bradley Jagodzinski of Fridley; daughter, Jackie Lanoue of Farwell; grandchildren, Janelle (Cory) Negen, Matt (Cassie) Lanoue, Jonathan Jagodzinski, and Jamie Lanoue; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise; and brother John Peffer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Reno Township with Reverend Joe Vandeberg officiating at 4PM. Visitation will be held at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Reno Township on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4-7PM with a 7PM Prayer Service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Lidgerwood, ND.
