Carol Lind

Carol Lorraine was born on December 18, 1932, in Hewitt, Minnesota the daughter of Lynn and Florence Triplett. She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis. Carol was united in marriage to Fred Russel and to this union two children were born: Marti and Jody. She worked for Procter & Gamble and Donaldson?s Department store for several years. Carol later married DuWayne Lind and shortly after they were married the couple moved to the Alexandria area. She enjoyed knitting, crosswords, playing poker and watching the birds. Carol will be remembered as a kind, loving person. Carol died on Monday, July 7, 2014, at her home. She is survived by her children: Marti Russel of Alexandria, Jody Russel of Minneapolis; two grandchildren: Jacob and Christian; brother, Jerry (Char) Triplett; two nieces: Gail Triplett, Jan Marshall; step sons: Robert (Sue) Lind, Edward Lind; three step grandchildren, four great grandchildren; lots of friends and acquaintances. She was preceded in death by her husband, DuWayne. Memorial services were held on Saturday, July 12, 2014, 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home.
