Carol Ann Peters

Carol Ann (Jacobson) Peters was born on August 6, 1944, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Fritz and Doris (Eastman) Jacobson.  Carol graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria.

Carol was united in marriage to James Peters on October 2, 1965, at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria.  The couple was blessed with a son, Todd and daughters, Deborah and Janell.  The family moved around to different communities including, Fridley, Milroy and Alexandria.  Carol for the most part was a homemaker.  When the couple moved to Alexandria, Carol worked for 18 years at K-Mart and later at Fleet Farm. 

The couple enjoyed traveling and wintering at Lake Okeechobee in Florida.  She also enjoyed motorcycling and fishing with Jim.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Carol died on Friday, November 11, 2022, at her home in Alexandria at the age of 78.  She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Todd (Jennifer) Peters of Alexandria; daughter, Janell (Aaron) Curtis of Crestview, FL; five grandchildren; Landon, Sierra, Shelby, Logan, and Katelyn; brother, Ron Jacobson of Alexandria; three nieces, Brenda Stein, Sue Peters, and Lynn Klein.  Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Doris; daughter, Deborah Peters; brother, Bobby Jacobson; and two nieces, Shelly Peters and Wendy Lund.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  Interment will be at Geneva Cemetery in Alexandria.
