Celesta Mary LeSage passed away on July 8th, 2008, while she slept. She was born on April 29th, 1925 to William and Mary Staebler. She married Arthur Wilbur LeSage on January 5th, 1946. They celebrated their 62nd, anniversary this year. Celesta and Arthur have six children, David, Richard (Loretta), Robert, Douglas, Nancy (Scott), and Thomas (Laurie). As ?Grandma? she was blessed with 13 adoring grandchildren: Mark, Kristine, Jennifer, Nick, Donny, B.J., Scott, Janna, Megan, Ian, Michael, Nolan, and Haley. Four Great-Grandchildren also called her ?Grandma?. She was dignified and beautiful. ?Oh, Arthur!? she would scold when the boys got together and told funny stories- even though she loved every minute of it! She loved to laugh, she loved to listen. She loved music and birds; cross-word puzzles, court TV and game shows. She loved to live by the lakes and look out over them, but was nervous-silly when any of her family was playing in it! She loved freesia and fresh flowers and afghans to keep her warm. She loved to proclaim in a funny voice, ?I know nothing?, but truth be told, she was sharp as a tack and always knew exactly what was going on. She loved Grandpa- ?Papa? she would call him, and he adored and spoiled ?the little woman? every moment of their life together. Grandpa visited her everyday morning, noon and night at Rosewood and although she may have been a bit feisty from time to time saying, ?Oh, so nice to see you? or ?don?t you have somewhere to be?? She waited for his visits and loved to see his face, hear his laugh and the latest story from his ?coffee with the boys?. For 62 years, her soft pastel slippers sat by the side of her bed. Even when she could no longer get out of bed, she kept them there. She is dearly loved and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Olson officiating. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery in Little Falls, Minnesota. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home.
