Charles Frances Miller was the son of Lawrence and Florence (Wakeman) Miller on January 18, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Charles attended high school and then enlisted into the United States Air Force. He honorably served his country from 1956 until 1960. After the service, Charles began working in the construction business. He eventually began his own business and worked for many years painting and installing drywall. Some hobbies of Charles were, playing cards, fishing, and visiting casinos.
Charles “Chuck” Miller passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Bethany on the Lake after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ginny of 42 years, step-daughter Lori, and his sister Delia Marquette. He is survived by his sons, David Miller of Almena, WI and Dale Miller of Lincoln, NE; step-daughters, Robin and Julie; sisters, Violet (Ervin) David, Celia Marquette, and Ruth (John) Pappenfus; grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11 AM at Bethany on the Lake Chapel.
A visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Wednesday.
Military Honors will be provided by the American legion Post #87, VFW Post #936, VVA Post #235, Marine Corp League #1409, and the United States Air Force Honor
Guard.
