Lucinda “Cindy” Ann was born on November 6, 1958, in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph and Laurine (Moore) Frost. She graduated from High School in Newark, Ohio. She enlisted in the United States Army and worked as a Diesel Mechanic for six years. She was Honorably Discharged on October 3, 1983.
After serving her country Cindy returned to Ohio where she met the love of her life when she was riding motorcycle. Gary had to turn around when he saw her. The couple was married on August 24, 1983 in Ohio. To this union two children were born: Amanda and Denver. The family lived throughout the United States settling in the Villard area. Cindy was affectionately called Gary’s “little hillbilly”.
Cindy was the type of person anyone could talk to. She was a trustworthy, kind soul who liked to be goofy and dance with her granddaughter, Anna. She also enjoyed the outdoors and anything involved with being outside: the birds, plants, orchids, and collecting rocks and fossils. She had a gypsy spirit that will truly be missed.
Cindy died on Friday, April 1, 2016. She left behind her “broken hearted fool” Gary, who loved and cherished her; two children: Amanda (Jim) Walker, Denver (Monica); granddaughter, Anna; step grandson, Benjamin; brothers: Ernie (Brenda) Frost, Jeff Frost; sisters; Jeannie, Connie; step-mother, Jan Frost; half-sister: Lori (Matt), half-brother, Clarence.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home.
