Clara was born on July 31, 1923, in Millerville Township, the daughter of August and Anna (Turchin) Danelke. She attended country grade school.
Clara was united in marriage to Frank Tvrdik on August 13, 1945 in Millerville. After their marriage the couple moved to Alexandria where they raised their four children. Clara will be remembered as a truthful, honest person. She and Frank did everything together and her family was extremely important to her.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the VFW Auxillary.
Clara died on Saturday, November 01, 2014. She is survived by her two daughters: Ann (Dean) Logan of Alexandria, Debbie (Bill) Hildebrand of Champlin; six grandchildren: Katie Tvrdik, Adam (Makayla) Tvrdik, Amanda Logan, Ryan Logan, Erik Hildebrand, Chad Hildebrand; two great grandchildren: Wyatt & Ava; sister, Evelyn Koep.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; two sons: Rodney & Curtis; brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at ST. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
