Clarence Tuttle

Clarence Kenneth Tuttle was born on September 23, 1928, in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Delbert and Verna (Low) Tuttle. The family resided in South St. Paul until Clarence was in the 2nd grade when they moved to a farm near Miltona. Clarence lived in Miltona until he joined the Army Air Corp in 1945. While in the Army he served at several Army Bases which included the Island of Guam.
After being Honorably Discharged Clarence returned to the Miltona area where he met and married Vivian Eblen on September 28, 1950. To this union four children were born: Bonnie, Robin, Marty and Monty.
For most of their 62 years of marriage the couple lived in the Forada area. During his lifetime Clarence had several jobs but his main ones were farming, construction and truck driving.
He enjoyed reading, gardening, and he and Vivian loved canning and baking together. The couple also loved to go dancing and traveling.
Clarence died on Monday, June 27, 2016. He is survived by his children: Bonnie & husband, Kevin Gades, Robin & husband, Richard Schuhmacher, Marty & wife, Laura Novak Tuttle, Monty & wife, Shana McAlhaney Tuttle; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two brothers: Tom & wife, Ann Tuttle, David Tuttle, several brother-in-law & sister-in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian; parents: Delbert & Verna; mother & father-in-law: Lillian & Elmo, several brother-in-law & sister-in-laws.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hudson Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
