OBITUARY Clifford Deloid Iverson was born on January 8, 1920 near Brooten, MN in Kandiyohi County, the son of Knute and Dathilda (Olson) Iverson. He attended school through the eighth grade and then helped various farmers in the area. Cliff met Grace Glysen, his future wife in Glenwood, MN in the spring of 1942. They were united in marriage on October 31, 1942 in Alexandria, MN. They lived on a farm by Lowry and then bought a home in 1948 in Alexandria where they raised their two children Carol and Vernon. Cliff owned his own auto mechanic shop for many years in Alexandria until he retired in 1982 at the age of 62. He continued to work on small engines like lawn mowers and snow blowers. Since he was a ?jack of all trades? he fixed things around the house for Grace and his children. He was an honest, hardworking and good husband and dad. He will be missed by those who knew him. Clifford D. Iverson died on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Knute Nelson in Alexandria at the age of 94 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Grace Iverson of Alexandria, daughter Carol (Fred) Stueve of St. Cloud, MN; son Vernon (Mavis) Iverson of Alexandria; grandchildren Scott (Sarah) Stueve of St. Cloud, MN, Susan Stueve of St. Cloud, Roxanne (Scott) Riesselman of Alexandria and Chad (Crystal) Iverson of Alexandria; seven great grandchildren, sisters Doris (Harris) Gjerdingen of Willmar, MN, Adeline Suter of Willmar, MN, and Shirley Jacobson of Coon Rapids, MN; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Amy Hill and brothers Ivel Iverson and Oleander Iverson. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery near Holmes City, MN. Casket Bearers were Gary Glysen, Chad Iverson, Scott Stueve, Jay Stueve, Gage Riesselman, and Wyatt Riesselman.
