OBITUARY

Cody Mitchell Larson was born on July 15, 1992 in Alexandria, MN, the son of Nicholas Larson and Ginene Theisen. He lived in Alexandria and played baseball with AABA, VFW, traveling baseball team, and in high school. Growing up, Cody worked at Arrowwood Resort on the grounds crew, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and trimming trees. He enjoyed working at the golf course tending to the greens and fairways. Cody graduated from Jefferson High School in 2011 and soon began working for Aevenia Utility Company in Moorhead, MN. He was the go-to guy with machinery. He set poles, helped with back hoe work, and loved to climb the poles when they needed him to. Cody was working his way to becoming a Lineman with the company.

Loyal, genuine, giving, big hearted, caring, and charming are a few words Cody's family remember him by. This was evident by the many relationships he had with his family and friends. He was easy to talk with and enjoyed getting to know people with similar interests. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone and loved people for exactly who they were. Cody had a jovial side to himself as well. He liked to pull a few shenanigans on his big brother and little sister and was known for pranking all of his friends and family. Cody loved the outdoors and hunting. He loved animals and had planned on going back to school for aquatics and fishery.

Cody's wonderful smile and twinkle in his eyes will forever be cherished memories for his family and friends.

Cody M. Larson died on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 24 years old. He is survived by his father, Nick (Jennifer) Larson of Rapid City, SD; mother, Ginene (Dave) Theisen of Sauk Centre, MN; siblings, Zach (Ashley) Larson of Brandon, Haley (Sam Drummond) Larson of Alexandria, and Luke Theisen of Sauk Centre; nieces, Ava Drummond and Tatum Drummond both of Alexandria; grandparents, Bonnie Reichmann of Villard, Haven Larson of Forada, and Linda Larson of Glenwood; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
