Conan Lee Bitzan-Maus 

Our precious baby boy, Conan Lee Bitzan-Maus, blessed our lives for the last fifteen weeks. Born on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND to parents Rachel Bitzan and Jeffrey Maus. He passed away peacefully in his sleep without a whimper or cry, on the early morning of July 18, 2024. 

Conan’s life radiated joy to his parents, family, and those lucky enough to have met him. He loved spending time outside in his new world, capturing the scents, sights, and feelings only a child could describe. He was just beginning to learn to play with his toys, captivated by the blurring lights and motion. Conan’s big, bright, navy-blue eyes and infectious, giggly smiles were but a few of the countless gifts he brought to us.

Conan and his family enjoyed daily stroller rides in local parks and gator rides at the Maus farm, followed closely by their pups, Annie and Luna. Our little boy loved being with his mom and dad, as they continuously loved and cared for him. Conan brought meaning and purpose to the lives of Rachel and Jeffrey, and he will be forever remembered and cherished in our hearts. His spirit is with us. Our love for him is unending.

Surviving Conan are his parents, Rachel Bitzan & Jeffrey Maus; grandparents, LeRoy & Melissa Bitzan of Alexandria, Jerry & Joan Maus of Lowry; great grandparents, LaVern Bitzan & Dorothy Anderson; aunts & uncles, Lucille Bitzan, Teresa Bitzan, Kara Maus, Lindsey (Adam) Reidenbach, Melissa (Josh) Wolf, and Michael Maus; cousins, Livia Jameson, Ephraim & William ThangLan, Dietrich, Max, Frederick, Howie & Hallie Reidenbach, and Eva, Theodore & Myles Wolf; Doggies, Luna & Annie.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Anderson Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 PM. A private memorial service will be held the following day.
