David William Dehnke, age 86, of Alexandria passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 with family by his side at the VA in St. Cloud, MN.
David was born on September 26, 1938, in Eau Claire, WI the son of Walter and Arlene (Strausberg) Dehnke, he was one of six boys. David was a member of the VFW Post 936. He served as Judge Advocate from many years. David was proud to be a Veteran and was blessed to have been a participate in the “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans” that was held in Alexandria. This really touched his heart.

He enjoyed visiting with his friends and fellow veterans at the VFW and the “Lounge Ladies” along with a few gentlemen at the Legacy Apartments where he and Marlys spent the last 3 ½ years.
