David Paulson

David Morgan Paulson was born on December 7, 1944, in Osceloa, Wisconsin the son of Morgan and Grace (Kobes) Paulson. Dave graduated from Osceola High School and furthered his education at Eau Claire State College. After college David worked for Bellanca Aircraft in Wisconsin. On December 13, 1963 David was united in marriage to Patricia Skifstad in Osceola, WI. The couple moved to Alexandria when Bellanca transferred there. After working for Bellanca Dave was employed by Garfield Truss. He will be remembered as the grill master who loved to grill or cook and was very creative with the different dishes he prepared. Dave was also a great outdoorsman and truly enjoyed whatever he did outside whether it was hunting, fishing or working in his vegetable garden and would can or pickle the different items that came from there. David died on Monday, May 5, 2014, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pat; sons: Mike (Sara), Matt of Alexandria; grandchildren: Anlya, Max, Emma & Eryn; sister, June Givler of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his son, Perry; his parents. Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
