David Moe

David Vernon Moe was born on October 11, 1934 in Solem Township the son of Johnnie and Mabel (Ranstad) Moe. He was baptized and confirmed at Solem Lutheran Church and graduated from Kensington High School. He continued his education at Wahpeton School of Science and received his Electrician Certificate.

David was a lifetime member of IBEW (International Brotherhood Electrician Workers) which employed him throughout the United States.

Family and friends will remember David as one of the kindness men who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His laugh and goodwill will be missed by all. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, Twins and Vikings fan.
David died on Saturday, September 23, 2017. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Elaine Moe of Willmar; niece, Kristel (Reed) Hammerschmidt of Prior Lake, great nephew, Zach and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnnie & Mabel; brothers: Roger (Grace), Lyle; nephew, Todd.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Solem Lutheran Cemetery in Kensington or LCMC Church in Kensington would be preferred.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, 1:00 PM at Solem Lutheran Church in Solem Township. Burial will be at Solem Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
