Dennis M. Flick
On December 1, 2023, Dennis Flick went to meet the Lord. Dennis was born April 21, 1941, in Cooperstown, ND to Archie M. and Verna O. (Olson) Flick. He was later joined by twin sisters Loal and Lola and youngest sister Vicki Jo. He graduated from Cooperstown High School in 1959 and soon after joined the U.S. Navy and served 9 years as a radioman. In 1963 he married Elizabeth A. Steffen. In 1972 Dennis graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Oregon. After a year and a half in Helena, MT the family settled in Billings, MT where he was a CPA at Galusha Higgins and Galusha. In 1979 he became General Manager of Lake Hills Golf Club until his retirement in 2003. Dennis and Elizabeth had 3 children Joni Lynn, Jason Lee, and Brandon Keyes. Dennis was twice elected to the Billings City Counsel and was Deputy Mayor of Billings for 4 years.
Elizabeth passed away in 2002. In 2004, Dennis married Rosemary Kulsrud and they built a life in Alexandria, MN. In retirement Dennis loved to golf, go for drives, and would visit with anyone he would meet. But what he enjoyed most was the traveling he and Rosemary did. They wintered in Panama City Beach, FL. They would choose different routes every year exploring the country. They did a bus tour to New York City and Washington DC, which was enjoyed very much. Both Dennis and Rosemary can proudly say they attended every high school graduation of their grandchildren.
Dennis was a great fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings and never missed watching a game.
Dennis was very active in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church, holding many church offices during his life. Dennis’s faith in the true word of God never wavered.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elizabeth, and sister Loal.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary, daughter Joni West (Tom), Sons Jason (Amie) and Brandon (Jill), Grandchildren Jourdan, Haylee, Emily, Wyatt, Luke, Madison, and Laney, and great grandchildren Elijah, and Stevie.
