DIANE M. KLEGSTAD Diane Marie Klegstad was born on November 23, 1946 in Redwood Falls, MN the daughter of Emil and Rosella (Bartes) Kodet. She graduated from Morton High School in 1964 and continued her education in the field of nursing at the Glenwood Hills School of Nursing in Golden Valley, MN. Diane married Bob Klegstad on November 8, 1969 in Morton, MN at St. John?s Catholic Church. Together they lived in Elk River, MN until 1992 when they moved to Brandon, MN where they currently reside. Diane worked as a nurse until 1973 to stay at home to raise her two children James and Kimberly. After her children had grown and left her home she began to work with Medical Records in Anoka and then most recently in Ashby, and Evansville. Diane?s hobbies included gardening and canning fruits and vegetables. She liked to watch birds come and go from her patio, travel the United States and taking walks in the woods. Word puzzles, Sudo Ku, crypto games and computer games were also one of her past times. Diane M. Klegstad died on Friday, August 27, 2010 at her home with her family by her bedside at the age of 63. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Bob Klegstad of Brandon, MN; children James (Kelly) Klegstad of Richmond, MN and Kimberly Klegstad of Eagan, MN. She is also survived by her brother Richard Kodet of Sartell, MN and sisters Joann (Dave) Holland of Moorhead, MN; Audrey (James) Ahrens of Morton, MN; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church in Brandon, MN with the Reverend Dennis L. Preston officiating. Virginia Hegre played the organ and Kelly Smith was the soloist. Interment was in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at Camp Ripley near Little Falls, MN. Casket Bearers were Lynn Reading, Jill Beck, Lisa Wolf, Dottie Cullen, Amy Robben, and Pam Clow. Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. www.andersonfuneral.net
