DiAnn Plummer

DiAnn Marie Plummer was born on June 5, 1950 in Parkers Prairie, MN to Elroy and Lucille (Bast) Wussow. She was baptized and confirmed at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Leaf Valley, and graduated from Mar Vista High School in Imperial Beach, CA. She continued her education receiving her BA Summa Cum Laude in Christian Ministry from Indiana Christian University. She married Edward Madole Jr. on August 24, 1968 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Leaf Valley, MN. To this union their son Edward “Lee” Madole III was born. She then married Joel K. Plummer on September 22, 1990 at Family Faith Church in Huntsville, TX.
DiAnn worked as a book keeper for Lucky Stores. She also worked as a bus driver for the Metropolitan Transit Authority in Houston, TX, and at a Wal-Mart in Huntsville, TX and Alexandria. She most currently worked as a custodian and volunteered for St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Garfield.
Some of DiAnn’s hobbies included baking, cooking, canning and gardening. She enjoyed traveling to Hot Springs, Arkansas for Hettie Lou Brooks women’s weekend conferences. She loved to read her bible and listen to Christian music. Family has always been a big part of her life. She treasured family get togethers for birthdays and holidays including a family reunion on Lake Louise.
DiAnn M Plummer died on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Knute Nelson in Alexandria at the age of 65 years old. She is survived by her son Edward “Lee” Madole III of Garfield; mother Lucille (Bast) Wussow of Alexandria; step son Tommy (Felicia) Plummer of Arlington, TX; step daughter Paula (Frank) Michaud of Pointblank, TX; 9 siblings: Donavon Wussow of Alexandria, Ewald Wussow of Alexandria, Allan (Beth) Wussow of Alexandria, June (Rick) Hart of Katy, TX, Linda (Kenneth) Gregory of Mesquite, TX, Brian Wussow of Garfield, Lori (Craig) Hornberger of Alexandria John (Rondi) Wussow of Garfield, and Dana Wussow (Cody Isdahl) of Carlos; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joel K. Plummer, Edward L. Madole Jr.; grandfathers Otto Bast and Ewald Wussow; grandmothers Theresa Bast and Olga Wussow; father Elroy Frank Wussow; brother Elroy James Wussow; infant sisters Katherine and Lisa Wussow; nephew Aaron Gregory; step son Harold Plummer and many aunts and uncles
