Donald Underhill

OBITUARY Donald Louis Underhill was born on October 29, 1942 in North East Minneapolis, the son of Donald and Jeanette (Felix) Underhill. Don grew up and attended school in NE Minneapolis. After school Don lived and worked in various places before moving to Champliin, MN. He married Sharon Dudley on September 29, 1984 in Brooklyn Park, MN at Sharon?s mother?s backyard. Together they lived in Champlin, MN and Don worked as an independent truck driver for many years. He retired in 2005 and then moved to their lake home on Lake Ida. Don loved the lake life. He enjoyed the quiet peaceful mornings, and the many visits with friends and neighbors that passed by his dock. He also enjoyed fishing, campfires and riding his 4-wheeler which he would take down the road to visit friends. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Donald L. Underhill died on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 71 years old at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Underhill of Alexandria, daughters Dawn and Tony, and siblings Ronald, Jeanette, and Carol. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Suzanne; parents, brother Arnold Underhill and step son Danny Dudley. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at St. James Lutheran Church in Crystal, MN. Interment was in the Glen Haven Cemetery in Crystal, MN.
