Donna Jo Love, age 52, of Alexandria, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
Donna Jo was born on January 7, 1962, in Houston, Texas. Donna and her family moved to Alexandria in 1971 where Donna attended Osakis, Washington Elementary and Jefferson High School. She furthered her education receiving her Associates Degree.
Donna worked as a Medical Secretary for several years working throughout the Southern United States. Donna was united in marriage to Daniel Love on January 26, 2007. In 2009, Donna and Daniel moved back to Alexandria after her father died to help take care of her mother.
Donna loved music especially Country. She enjoyed going to different places to dance. She also had a huge passion for sports especially football.
Donna died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at her home. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Barten of Alexandria; brother, Darren of Alexandria; children: Amanda Rhodes of Mississippi, Jacob Pittmann of Georgia; grandchildren: Bailey & Brody Rhodes; sister, Dana Thompson; lifetime friend, Trisha.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel in 2013; father, Richard in 2009.
Memorial services were held on Monday, August 25, 2014, 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home.
