Dorothy M. Larson Dorothy Mae Larson was born in Alexandria, Minnesota, on June 29, 1925, the daughter of Norman and Anna (Glaum) Jensen. She was baptized and confirmed at the First English Lutheran Church and graduated from Central High School in Alexandria in 1943. Dorothy then attended the University of Minnesota in the Dietician class for two years and returned to Alexandria. It was while working at the hardware store that she met Lloyd Larson.
