Doyle Othar Walberg

Doyle Walberg was born on July 30, 1960, in Alexandria, Minnesota to Harold and Ione (Hagen) Walberg. He was confirmed at Calvary Covenant Church in Evansville and graduated from Evansville High School in 1978.  Doyle attended Alexandria Technical College for Parts and Sales where he earned his diploma. 

Doyle worked at the Brandon Co-op in his early years. Then took a job at Voyager Industries in Brandon where he worked until the end.

Doyle enjoyed watching Nascar and Football while having an Old Milwaukee, shooting the breeze with friends and family, and joking with his co-workers at Voyager.

Doyle died on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Alomere Health in Alexandria at the age of 62.  He is survived by his daughter, Blaine (Joe) Kostreba of Sauk Centre; granddaughter, Taylor Jo Kostreba; siblings, Merle (Sharon) Walberg of Evansville, Pearl Dingman of Motley, Lucy Zelazny of Plymouth, Wesley (Judy) Walberg of Eagan, and DiAnn (Kurt) Brown of Park Falls, WI; brother-in-law, Greg Rosin of Wendall; and many nieces and nephews. Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ione; sister, Janet Rosin; brothers, LaVerne and Harlan Walberg; and brothers-in-law, Butch Dingman and Bob Zelazny.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 1-3 PM at the Brandon Liquor Store.
