Obituary Edward Paul Botzet was born on February 24, 1928 in Carlos Township, MN, the son of Paul and Selma (Ritten) Botzet. He attended Dist. #69 country school and helped his father on the farm. He enlisted into the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. After Ed returned from the war he met the ?Love of his Life? Beverly Svee. Ed farmed his entire life on the farm which his parents had homesteaded and his sons Ken and Joe continue to farm. He continued to help his sons with farm work whenever he could. Ed was a hard working, structured man who loved his family and had a big heart. Throughout Ed?s life he provided well for his wife and children. In his early years, he did some wood working projects in his spare time. He loved the outdoors ? fishing, hunting and taking summer naps on the lawn. On the farm he milked cows, raised pigs, cattle, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and grew crops. He also enjoyed occasional visits to the casino and playing cards with his neighbors.
