Eldon Langsev

August 3, 1928 — November 2, 2017

Eldon Langsev was born on August 3, 1928, in Blue Earth Minnesota the son of Sievert and Fola (Amy) Evans.  As a young boy the family moved to South Dakota where he attended high school and played for the football team.  After graduation Eldon was enlisted into United States Army at the end of World War II and then worked for the Pentagon.  He was honorably discharged on February 28, 1948.

On June 5, 1971, Eldon was united in marriage to Norma Story.  The couple made their home in Minneapolis where he was Greenskeeper for the Hiawatha Golf Course and later moved to Alexandria where they retired.

The couple loved to travel throughout the United States and also enjoyed going to movies.  Eldon loved hunting, fishing, collecting rocks and was a huge sportsman.

Eldon died on Thursday, November 2, 2017.  He is survived by his step daughters: Jackie, Jodi, Julie; grandchildren: Holly, Heather, Sandy, Lizzie, Roxy, Don, Vern, Michael, Matthew; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Kenny; sister, Jan Booze.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; grandchild, Angie; great grandchild, Trayton; brother, Lowell.
