OBITUARY Elizabeth Marie Kraska was born on May 15, 1947 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Neil and Marie (Gisvold) Swenson. She graduated from Brooklyn Park High School in 1965 and then began to work for the Grain Exchange as a secretary for 19 years. She then worked for trucking companies in Minneapolis and Alexandria as a secretary. Elizabeth married the love of her life, Donald Kraska. They were united in marriage on August 31, 1991 in Alexandria and lived by words ?Love is Worth the Time it Takes to Find.? Together they loved their four children Renee, Todd, Ashley, and Jason Elizabeth enjoyed motorcycling with Don and had two memorable trips to Sturgis, SD. She also enjoyed traveling in their motor home to Coolidge, AZ where Elizabeth made many friendships at Indian Skys. She liked boating and visiting with friends and family. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Elizabeth M. Kraska died on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at her home with her family by her bedside at the age of 63 years old. She is survived by her husband Donald Kraska of Alexandria; parents Neil and Marie Swenson of Brooklyn Park, MN; sons Todd Kraska of Minneapolis; Jason Kraska of Alexandria; daughters Ashley Worden of Alexandria, Renee Iverson of Edmonton, Canada; grandchildren Luci Iverson, Ryland Iverson, and Edith Iverson; sisters Genice (Alvin) Cummings of Brooklyn Park, MN; Patricia (Ted) Harrison of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law Val Swenson of Little Canada, MN. She was preceded in death by her brother Paul Swenson, brother-in-law David Kraska and sister-in-law Jennifer Kraska. A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Inurnment was in the Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria. Pallbearers included Sanford Olson, Jeff Sonsteby, Earl Kladstrup, Dennis Enroth, Kevin Powers, Julie Puin, Gene Pederson, and Tim Radil.
