Frank Verdugt Jr.

Frank B Verdugt Jr. was born December 18, 1957 in Alexandria MN, the son of Frank Sr. and Rozall (Okerlund) Verdugt.  He graduated from Jefferson Sr. High school in Alexandria in 1975.

Frank worked construction in the Alexandria area until 1977 when he moved to Nome, Alaska where he worked construction on the Aleutian Islands for two years.

He returned to Alexandria and continued in the construction business.  He then moved to Wyoming where he worked construction.

He returned to Alexandria in 1982 where he was employed by his brother in the home construction business until he was in an auto accident leaving him unable to work construction anymore.

Up to his death on February 2nd he worked at Walmart as manager in the hardware department.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities.  He was always willing to help the downtrodden.  He definitely was a giver not a taker.

He is survived by his mother Rozall Verdugt (Oklerlund) of Alexandria, his brother Greg Verdugt and wife Eileen of Alexandria and sister Julie Verdugt of Glenwood MN.  He also had numerous nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank Verdugt Sr.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
