Genevieve Apfelbacher

Genevieve Irene was born on March 7, 1925, in Ray, North Dakota the daughter of James & Lela (Hoehn) O?Reilly. She attended Ray High School. On May 8, 1943 Genevieve was united in marriage to John Apfelbacher in St. Paul, Minnesota. To this union three children were born: Jack, James and Linda. The family made their home in South St. Paul. After John retired the couple moved to Alexandria. During this time Genevieve enjoyed fishing with John, working in her flower garden and was a volunteer at the Senior Center. Genevieve died on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. She is survived by her three children: James & wife, Rhonda of Blaine, MN, Jack & wife, Janet of New Mexico, Linda Wilke of Fort Madison, IA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Richard & wife, Linda O?Reilly of Wilmington, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, parents, brothers: Robert & Jerry. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Rev. Steve Binsfeld officiating. Pallbearers were Roger Wilke, Todd Loffler, Dallas Apfelbacher, Dick O?Reilly, James Apfelbacher, Jack Apfelbacher. Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis
