George Meehl

George Edward Meehl passed peacefully on November 26, 2009. He was born on December 15, 1919 in Minneapolis, MN and a long time resident of Bloomington, MN. He was the son of John and Mary (Sheppard) Meehl. After graduating from high school he enlisted into the United States Army Air Corp 8th Air Force. He is survived by his son Gerry (Gail) Meehl of Seattle, WA; daughters Lynn (Don) Swanson of Garfield, MN; Lee (Vern) Lesmeister of Bloomington, MN; 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Caryl Meehl; parents, and three brothers. Private graveside services will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN
