Gloria M. Anderson, age 91, of Alexandria, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Gordon Anderson of Alexandria, daughter, Mary and husband, Craig Rothfusz; three grandchildren: Andy, Abby and Alex Rothfusz all of Fargo, ND; brother, Earl Olander of Carver, MN.
Gloria was the daughter of Mabel and Arthur Olander and grew up on a farm at Carver, MN. She graduated from Chaska High School and Mankato State College. She married her College sweetheart on June 4, 1950. She was an elementary teacher and served in many capacities at her church and on social and charitable organizations.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Living Word Church in Alexandria. A Graveside service will be held at East Union Lutheran Church in Carver, Minnesota at a later date.
