Gregory Torgerson

Greg (Torgie) Torgerson was born on March 8, 1947, the son of Arvid & Audrey (Anderson) Torgerson.  He graduated from Park Rapids High School in 1965.  In 1969, Greg graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College where he was a member of the college fraternity, the Reds. He bartended for many years, worked for Lappin Electric in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Wisconsin. Greg worked for PEBG traveling where he bought coins, jewelry, and watches. His wife, Marjory, joined the group and specialized in jewelry and diamonds. Greg and Marj spent many fun days shopping for the various antique items they so enjoyed in their home. After Greg lost his beloved wife, Marjory, on February 26, 2022, he moved from his home in Mound to Eden Prairie, and then to Alexandria, MN until his death on December 2, 2023.

He is survived by his sisters Deb (John) Degner), Jackie (Ben) Nelson, Denise Baker, Kathleen Saunders, stepchildren Brandon (Sunny) Mitchell, Ross Mitchell, Gene Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, Adam (Rachel) Mitchell, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be at a later date. His family is comforted with Greg at peace.
