Haldon Juel Coultas was born August 6, 1922 in Fairdale, ND, the son of Leighton and Emma (Seterdahl) Coultas.
On December 7, 1946, he married Marylou Anders. They lived on a hobby farm in Cogswell, ND where they raised their ten children. Haldon was employed by Melroe for thirty-five years; he was the first employee hired and when he retired he was still number one.
Haldon loved horses and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Haldon died October 12, 2014 at Bethany Home, under the care of Hospice of Douglas County, Alexandria, MN.
Haldon is survived by his wife, Marylou, Alexandria, MN; five sons, Hal "Buck" (Jane), New Market, MN, Dana (Dona), Fargo, ND, Steve, Medina, OH, Scott, Tularosa, NM, and Dell (Sherry), Lakeville, MN; five daughters, Carol Gallegos, Tularosa, NM, Cathy (Hilary) Allex, Minot, ND, Connie (Dale) Innes, Scottsdale, AZ, Cheri, Sioux Falls, SD; Cindy (Lynn) Jasmer, Alexandria, MN; a sister, Grace Sigafoos, Mound, MN; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
