Harlan Svee

Harlan Orvin Svee was born on November 16, 1930 in Alexandria, Minnesota to John and Clara (Torkelson) Svee. He was baptized and confirmed at East Moe Lutheran Church in Moe Township. Harlan graduated from High School in Alexandria. After graduation he stayed home to help care for his parents. He later worked at Bellanca Aircraft in Alexandria as a sheet metal worker. Harlan enjoyed living at Bethel Manor the past few years, until January when he moved to Country Manor in Sartell.
Harlan enjoyed playing bingo at the Legion, listening to polka bands and going to the Douglas County Fair. He will be remembered for his love of Mickey Mouse and his very kind gentle spirit.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at East Moe Lutheran Church in Moe Township with Reverend Sarah Evenson officiating. Inurnment will be at East Moe Lutheran Church Cemetery.
