Helen Rustman

Helen Rustman age 67, of Alexandria passed away of cancer on August 10th. Survived by devoted husband of 48 years, Melvyn; children, Michele (Alan) Freng, Melvyn Jr (Shelly), Melinda (Martin) Sundquist; grandchildren, Jessica, Thomas, Sam, Dustin, Paul, Autumn, Annika and Torsten; great-grandson, Jason; sister, Dorene (Gerald) Jerzak and many nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by parents, Abraham and Iola Madden and sister, Ardyth Faulds. Memorials preferred to Douglas County Hospice or the family. Thanks to Helen?s many caregivers, including Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Swenson, Trumm Drug, Alexandria Clinic, Douglas County Hospital, Knute Nelson, and Douglas County Hospice. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Anderson Funeral Home with Reverend John LeVahn officiating. Music was provided by Wayne and Gloria Lee. Inurnment was held in the Skandia Cemetery in Balaton, Minnesota. Honorary urn bearers Helen?s grandchildren.
