Imogene Redman Imogene Redman of Alexandria, MN passed away May 14, 2010. Preceded in death by parents Earl and Ida Smith Johnson of Palmer, IA and husband Harold Redman. She is survived by daughter Diana Uppman (Boyd) of Chaska, MN, son Dal of Alexandria and son Dennis (Sandy) of Alexandria, granddaughter Jodi Lorentz (Scott) and great grand children Benjamin and Natalie Lorentz. Imogene was born December 18, 1922 in Albion, IL. During her early teen years her family moved to Palmer, IA. She graduated from Palmer High School. Following graduation she trained as a beautician and opened her own shop. On May 2.1942 she married Harold Redman in Palmer, IA. They farmed in Iowa and Barrett, MN. In 1976 they started a second career as resort owners on Barrett Lake. After Harold?s death in 1995, she retired to Alexandria. A memorial service was held on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Alexandria with the Reverend Barbara Lund-Thompson officiating. Inurnment was in the Peace Cemetery near Barrett, MN. Honorary Pall Bearers were Imogene?s granddaughter Jody Lorentz and great grandchildren Benjamin and Natalie Lorentz.
