Isabelle Schultz, age 86, of West St. Paul, formerly of Alexandria, died Sunday, November 22, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, December 3, 2015 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Interment will follow in the Lake Ida Cemetery in Ida Township. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria and also one hour prior to the service at church.
OBITUARY
Isabelle (Kuefner) Schultz was born on July 13, 1929 in Fairmont, MN. She married Herbert Schultz in 1950 and was blessed with 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Isabelle’s life was filled with many roles. Besides being a wife and mother, she excelled in cooking, gardening, refurbishing furniture, crafts, sewing and other home economics. She loved camping and fishing and did it as often as possible. Isabelle sold real estate in the Alexandria area for many years and enjoyed volunteering at church, keeping the gardens beautiful.
Isabelle died peacefully in her sleep on November 22, 2015 at the age of 86. She is survived by her 5 children: Ione (Ron) Nerby, Brian (Gwen) Schultz, Barry (Sandy) Schultz, Irma Jean (John) Campbell, and Irene (Mike) Albert. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Schultz.
A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, December 3, 2015 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Reverend Michael Neumann will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lake Ida Cemetery in Ida Township. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
