Jack was born on October 7, 1956, in Alexandria, MN, the son of Robert and Kay (Rutten) Schneiderhan. He attended Alexandria High School and worked as an auto mechanic throughout his life. His hobbies included trapping, hunting, and fishing. His entire life revolved around his son, Jason, his family and his mom. Jack died on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at his home. He is survived by his son, Jason & wife, Connie of Parkers Prairie; daughter, Tracy & husband, Jeff Beck of Alexandria; mother, Kay & husband, Dale Hobbs of Alexandria; grandchildren, Zach, Shawn and Aidan Schneiderhan; brothers: Ron of Alexandria, Scott of Texas; sisters: Sue Schneiderhan & friend, Jim Wegscheider of Carlos, Jill Lorsung of Parkers Prairie, Jan & husband, Patrick Lindquist of Parkers Prairie, Melissa & husband, Andy Taylor of Texas; step brothers Dan Hobbs of Shakopee, MN, Chris and Patty Hobbs of Parkers Prairie, MN; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; paternal grandparents: Ray & Rose Schneiderhan, maternal grandparents: Bill & Gladys Rutten; best friend, Roger. Memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Astrup officiating. Memorials are preferred to the Humane Society. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home.
