Jacqueline June was born on April 21, 1928, in Atlantic, Iowa the daughter of Pearl and Pauline Jacobs. She graduated from Grinnel High School and went onto nursing school. Graduating with an ?Registered Nurse degree near the top of her class at St Joseph?s School for Nursing, Cedar Rapids, IA. Jacqueline was a dedicated nurse and mother and grandmother. Jacqueline also enjoyed literature, speechwriting, arts, crafts, painting and sewing. She will be remembered as a survivor and had an awesome sense of humor with high standards for professional behavior. Jacqueline died on Saturday, January 11, 2014. She is survived by her two sons: Scott of Alexandria, Mike (Donna) of Gulf Port, Mississippi; grandchildren: Cassie Lea, Kendra Ann, Kyle Scott, Jason, Angie, Devon, Sherry, Matthew; sister, Wanda. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; brothers: Richard & Norman. Funeral service was held on Monday, January 20, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Home Chapel with Rev. John LeVahn officiating.
