Jacquelyn Sue Fiebranz was born September 30, 1960 in Logansport, IN, the daughter of Jerald and Sandra (Flaten) Fiebranz. Her father served in the military and moved his family often. Jackie attended school in Goldsboro, NC and graduated from high school.
She met Bill Hermel, who was serving in the military, and the two were united in marriage, They were blessed with one son, Robert. The family lived in New York until 1985.
Jackie moved to Osakis, MN for a short time before moving to Arkansas. In the mid-1990’s Jackie moved to Alexandria, MN. In 1996 she met Steve Petron and the two have been together ever since. They have made their home near Long Prairie, MN for the last twenty years.
Jackie has worked at various businesses including Donnelly Manufacturing and 3M. For the last nine years she has worked at IWCO in Little Falls, MN.
Jackie loved her dogs and loved flower gardening. Being able to sit and enjoy the sunshine or go swimming was special. She also enjoyed making jewelry and going shopping.
On Tuesday, July 11, 2017 Jackie passed away at the age of fifty-six years. She is survived by Steve Petron of Long Prairie; one son, Robert Hermel and wife, Jamie; two daughters, Anna and Katie; mother, Sandy Fiebranz of Evansville, MN; grandchildren, Austin, Danika. Christian, Bailey, Noah and Dominik; brother Roland ‘Rocky’ Fiebranz and wife, Lisa, of Portland, OR; and sisters, Terri Kapphahn of Evansville and Tina Fiebranz and partner, Vern Kasmaker, of Alexandria.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
