James "Jim" Carl Helrigle

Helrigle, James Carl, age 75, passed peacefully from this life at home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born February 26, 1949 in Dayton, OH to Stanley and Frances Helrigle. He married Melissa Ann Pomeroy on June 15, 2013 in Alexandria, MN.

 Jim was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Frances (McGill) Helrigle, and sister Linda Jarvis (Helrigle). He is survived by his wife Melissa, son Jason (Erin) Helrigle and 2 grandsons Connor and Ethan Helrigle; siblings Steven (Marian) Helrigle, Trish (Jack) Smith, Karen (Rick) Sykes, and Kathy Helrigle, beloved nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.

 Jim was a proud Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War in Echo Company 2nd Battalion 39th Infantry. He was known for his love of life, and also his love for his wife, family and friends. He had a never ending supply of kindness, a generous loving heart, and a positive approach to life. 

Family and friends and others whose hearts Jim touched are invited to a memorial service at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Anderson Funeral Home, 659 Voyager Dr., Alexandria, MN 56308. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home on Sunday.
