James McCabe James Christopher ?Jim? McCabe was born on August 3, 1958, in Alexandria, Minnesota, the son of Chris and Bobette (Dittberner) McCabe. He attended St. Mary?s School and graduated in 1977 from Jefferson High School in Alexandria. Jim then attended school in St. Cloud where he earned his degree as a Surgical Medical Technician. He returned to Alexandria and for the past twenty years has been employed in the warehouse department at Target. Jim loved history, especially the history of World War II and the Vietnam War era. He also enjoyed deer hunting and Minnesota Viking football. For the past several years Jim had been living in the home he grew up in helping to care for his parents. Jim died on May 7, 2013, at the Fairview University Hospital at the age of 54 years. He is survived by his twin daughters BriAnna McCabe and Acacia McCabe; his mother Bobette McCabe of Alexandria; brothers Patrick of Parkers Prairie, Mark (Becky) of Alexandria, Thomas of Parkers Prairie, John of Alexandria, and Paul (Cindy) of Minneapolis and a sister Julie (Karl) Goehring of Moorhead. Jim is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, May 13, 2013, at the St. Mary?s Catholic Church I Alexandria, Minnesota. Entombment was in the St. Mary?[s Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum with ___________________serving as pallbearers. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria www.andersonfuneral.net
