Jay Allen Iverson, was born on April 11, 1968, the beloved son of Luallen and Anita Iverson. After graduating from Jefferson High School in 1987, he embarked on various work experiences in his hometown before he pursued training at Wadena Technical College's Truck Driving School, ultimately becoming a skilled truck driver for road construction companies in the five-state area.
Known for his love of ice fishing, deer hunting, and motorcycles, Jay possessed a fondness for tinkering with small engines and showcasing his mechanical talents. His witty humor and amiable nature endeared him to all who knew him, making him a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Jay Allen Iverson, age 56, of Alexandria, died on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Bethany on the Lake. Jay is survived by his mother, Anita Iverson of Alexandria, his brother, Jerry Iverson (Rozan) of Stoddard, WI, his sister, Lynn Sebek (Steve) of Alexandria, along with three nephews and two nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luallen Iverson.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11 AM.
