Jean Sletto

Jean Alvina was born on July 31, 1943 in Alexandria, MN the Daughter of Roy Sorenson and Laura (Colden) Patri. She graduated from Alexandria High school.

Jean met her future husband while he was drag racing down Broadway Ave in Alexandria. They were married on September 16, 1961 at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Two boys were born to this marriage, Randy and Galen.

Jean worked at Honeywell for a short time before moving to Brandon. Jean then started working at Crestview Manor Nursing home as a bookkeeper and retired after 27 years of employment. During their retirement Myron and Jean traveled around the country, visiting different places and finding a good polka dance to attend. Myron and Jean loved to polka dance and made many friends from all over the United States during those dances. She was proud of her sons and enjoyed spending time with each of them. Jean will be missed by all those who knew and loved Her.

Jean A Sletto died on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at Evansville Care Campus. She is survived by his sons Randy (Stephanie) Sletto of Brandon, MN and Galen (Tammy) Sletto of Brandon, MN; grandchildren Theresa Sletto  of Coon Rapids, Nicole (Josh) Muzik of Brandon, Kyle Sletto (Adrianna) of Glenwood, Kristen Sletto (fiancé Dekkar) of Starbuck, Tyler (Abby) Anderson of Mandan, ND, Dillon Anderson of Brandon, and Nathan Sletto of Brandon; great grandchildren Riley Hanson, Brooklynn Muzik, Bristol Muzik, Elliot Muzik, Ayla Sauer, Kaidence Sletto, Emmerson Sletto,  Aubri Anderson, Olivia Anderson

She was preceded in death by her Husband Myron Sletto and Brother Ray Sorenson and her parents Laura Patri and Roy Sorenson.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020, 2:00 PM at West Moe Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior.
