JEFFREY NOLAN Jeffrey Lee Nolan, age 38, of Kansas City, MO died Monday, November 23, 2009 in Kansas City. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Jeff was born March 14, 1971 in Alexandria to Timothy and Susanne (Ensign) Nolan. He grew up in Alexandria and graduated from Jefferson Senior High School in 1989. While in high school, Jeff participated in football, baseball and wrestling with wrestling being his number one love. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1989 and served on the U.S.S. Wadsworth. He was discharged in 1992 and moved to Kansas City, MO. Jeff married Becky Landis of Kansas City on May 29, 1993. To this union Jenny and Maggie were born. In 1999 Ryan was born to Jeff and Tracy Kurtz. While in Kansas City Jeff was involved in Tiger Scouts, Cub Scouts and served as an assistant Cub Master. He coached youth baseball and always enjoyed coming back to Minnesota for deer hunting and vacationing with family. Jeff, Jenny, Maggie and Ryan spent many enjoyable weekends camping. Jeff is survived by his father Tim Nolan (Sharon) of Kansas City; mother Sue Nolan (Dell Krebs) of Miltona; and daughters Jenny and Maggie and son Ryan of Kansas City. Also surviving are his brother Dan (Elena Brustad) of Bagley and sister Missy (Vic Ford) of Alexandria. Other survivors include his stepsister Tracy Hopkins and stepbrother Danny Brown, both of Kansas City, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Honorary pallbearers are Matt Reineke, Paul Fernholz, Greg Uhde, Rocky Posledni and Mark Nichols.
